In the ongoing efforts aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of distributing
teaching and learning materials to schools in the country, the Malawi Institute of Education is
still conducting the consultative meetings now in the southern region.

Yesterday, MIE held productive discussions in the South East Education Division in
Machinga Education Offices which had Education Managers from Mangochi, Balaka, Zomba
Urban, Zomba Rural, the Education Division Manager and Chief Quality Assurance Officer
for the division.

Today, the team was in the Shire Highlands Education Division, meeting with Mulanje,
Thyolo, Chiradzulu and Phalombe, identifying gaps, and agreeing with the education
stakeholders on practical solutions to keep advancing the quality of education in the country.

MIE remains committed to working closely with all education stakeholders to ensure that
every learner has access to quality teaching and learning materials. These consultative
meetings form a nationwide effort to enhance coordination, accountability, and service
delivery across the education sector.
