The Malawi Institute of Education (MIE) has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of excellence by recognising the outstanding performance of Mr. Samson Mitumbiri of the Stores Section as the Employee of the Month for June 2026.
Presenting the award, Acting Executive Director Mr. Jennings M. Kayira said the initiative reflects MIE’s commitment to recognising dedication, motivating staff and strengthening teamwork across the institution.
“When dedication is recognised, excellence becomes a culture. Through this initiative, we are inspiring employees to give their best, strengthening teamwork and improving institutional productivity,” he said.
Mr. Mitumbiri received a trophy, a certificate of recognition and a cash prize of MK200,000.
In his remarks, Mr. Mitumbiri showed his gratitude to MIE Management for the recognition, describing it as a motivation to continue serving with commitment and professionalism.
